The summer school will run for four weeks (2-28 September 2019) and include an intensive programme discussing different aspects of governance and its multiple challenges. Participants will learn how actors in the governance system, e. g. civil society, interest groups or state officials, constantly form and reform governance systems – in Europe as well as in the global South. In addition to thematic learning, the summer school will offer training courses in social science methods and soft skills. Excursions to Berlin, Eschborn and Frankfurt will round up the programme. Teaching and communication language is English.
